Discovery Club [After School Program] #33401

Thanks to the Geneseo Foundation, the Geneseo Park District Discovery Club offers a diverse range of daily themes, ensuring your child experiences a variety of activities that are both fun and educational. Each day brings a new adventure, featuring an exciting mix of sports, crafts, board games, mini-golf, swimming and movies. Plus, we'll provide a snack each day to keep your child energized and ready for more fun. We will also have theme weeks announced at a later date for program participants. Not held March 17 - 20, 2025 or May 26, 2025

Please note that no transportation will be provided. However, if participants have Park District activities at the Geneseo Community Center or Athletic Field, our staff will walk them to and from these activities.

DISCOVERY CLUB [Madden Tournament] #43414

Are you ready to prove your skills and rise to the top of the Madden world? Join us for an exciting, action-packed, single elimination Middle School PS5 Madden Tournament. Up to 16 teams will battle it out for the ultimate title! Games will be set on a timer so we can ensure all games can be played in one day. Lunch & snacks will be provided. Must register by April 13, 2025

DISCOVERY CLUB [Intro to Hands-on Engineering]  #33412-11

Sparking curiosity in the fields of mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering. This program will feature hands-on projects like water-bottle rockets and strawberry DNA as well as small demonstrations from the GHS robotics team. Engineering-focused, it offers a broad introduction to key principles, providing a wide-ranging exploration of the field.

DISCOVERY CLUB [Hitmaker's Workshop]  #33413

Build your own song! Join us for a 2-hour interactive session where you'll collaborate with fellow participants to create an original song from scratch guided by a local producer. You'll experience firsthand how ideas come together to form melodies, lyrics, and song structure. Play the bass, drums, guitar, synth, piano, or even try singing! Open to all skill levels, no experience necessary!
